St. Joseph College Alumni Association

HOW IT STARTED:

A vision of a group with immense talent, desire to reach out to people in need of help and guidance, socially active and sharing the feeling of bonding and oneness. It was path breath taking effort of Mrs. Pusphplata Agarwal  along with few like minded people who worked hard day and night to bring this Association to life.

WHO ARE WE:

We are a group of ex-student of St. Joseph College, started almost two decades back on 14th April, 1987 with a small group of 135 eager pupils and an enormously ambitious vision of the founder. So focused and resolute was her approach that during this short span, the institution has successfully overcome formidable barriers to come out in flying colors and made a mark of its presence on the horizon of city's educational landscape.

The illuminating and philosophical leadership has guided the highly skilled and motivated teaching faculty to help deliver meaningful education to the pupils of the institution. In such a short span of time the institution boosts to have a strength of over 3500 strong group of students at the end of the academic session 2009-2010, seeking education with an objective of becoming a responsible member of the society.

Mrs. Pusphplata Agarwal, inspired by her daughter “Neeru” laid the foundation of “Neeru Memorial Society” in remembrance of her fond memory with the sole objective to impart purposeful education to one and all. Under the aegis of this society St.Joseph Mont./Inter College, the institution was established. The first branch was started from Rajajipuram in the name of St. Joseph Montessori School in the year of 1987. This was followed by St. Joseph Inter College at Thakurganj in 2004 and St. Joseph Play way, Rajajipuram in 2005

Our pupils have not only excelled academically but also did brilliantly by participating in Republic Day parade, annual sport activities of the institution and other cultural events held over the years. They have bought glory and fame to themselves as well as to the institution by winning laurels and performing magnificently.

(i) We are a registered organization with the government under the society act. 

(ii) We are having our office at school. 

(iii) We are having the bank account of the association 

(iv) we are having our Permanent Account Number allotted by Income Tax authority of India. 

(v) We are registered under sec 12AA and 80G of the income tax act with the income tax authorities. 

(vi)Any donation given for our social activities qualifies for the rebate under sec 80G and 12AA of the income tax act.

At St. Joseph, we firmly believe that the achievement of our alumni are evidence of the excellent education and supportive atmosphere offered by the institution. Therefore, we are embarking on a mission to revitalize the Institution's Wall of Fame and showcase the remarkable accomplishments of our alumni.

It gives me immense pleasure and great pride to introduce the Institution's Wall of Fame, a platform dedicated to highlighting the outstanding achievements of our alumni. This platform is not only a celebration of individual achievements but also speaks volumes of the collective brilliance that the institution fosters.

We have developed a Google Form where you can contribute to the Institution's Wall of Fame by sharing your achievements. This form will be available indefinitely, giving you the chance to update your accomplishments. We encourage you to share your milestones, experiences, and accolades with us, as we believe that every achievement deserves recognition!

(a) To nurture, rejuvenate and further the bonds of friendship end fellow feeling between the Alumni themselves as well as between the alumni and the School. 

(b) To cooperate in a mutually constructive manner in order to inculcate the principles of moral integrity, humanity, service and other such values which were inculcated in School. 

(c) To emerge as a socially productive organization end to actively engage in cultural philanthropic and charitable activities. 

(d) To inspire and motivate present students in ways, which will help them achieve the ideals of St. Joseph’s education and thus become useful and active members of the Alumni Association. When they pass out of school.

The objects will be in the nature of directional policies providing guidance and direction to the activities undertaken by the Association. As Such they will be constructed as inclusive end not exhaustive, when undertaking any activity.
